The Department of Fisheries at Government Degree College Kokernag organized an insightful lecture titled “Water, Fish, and Community: Sustaining Life through Service” on 26th September 2025. . Annual College Road Race 2025

The Department of Botany Observed the Plantation Drive from 8th of April to 10th of April. In this drive the students from B. Sc. 2nd, 4th and 6th Semesters took part. More than 400 saplings of Cedrus deodare were planted in the different parks, lawns and Playground of the College campus. These plants were donated by the Social Forestry Department Division Anantnag to whom the Department of Botany has a MOU.

On 19th of march 2025 department of Botany in collaboration with the department of social forestry division Anantnag organized a mega Planation Drive in the college campus in which almost all the students and officials of department of social forestry participated. In this event more than 100 saplings of conifers(Cedrus) and cupressus were planted.
