Botany Department Plantation Drive

The Department of Botany Observed the Plantation Drive from 8th of April to 10th of April. In this drive the students from B. Sc. 2nd, 4th and 6th Semesters took part. More than 400 saplings of Cedrus deodare were planted in the different parks, lawns and Playground of the College campus. These plants were donated by the Social Forestry Department Division Anantnag to whom the Department of Botany has a MOU.



The HOD of Botany Dr Mohd Suliman and other staff members Dr Zubair, Dr Sumaira and Dr Afshana guided the students to plant these saplings in different parks, lawns and playground of the College. They were also given the required awareness about the importance of the plants for the survival of life on the planet.
